Getting started

Start with a free 10 minute call

Ten minutes on the phone tells us both more than any amount of reading. It costs nothing and you are not committing to anything.

The call

What actually happens on it

You do not need to tell me the whole story, and you definitely do not need to have it organised. A sentence or two about what has been going on is plenty.

  • You say roughly what has brought you here
  • I ask two or three questions to understand the shape of it
  • I tell you honestly whether I think I can help
  • If yes, we find a time. If no, I point you somewhere better

There is no cost, and no follow up sales call afterwards. If you decide not to book, that is a perfectly good outcome.

If I am in session I will not pick up. Leave a message or text, and I will call back the same working day where I can.

Prefer to pick a time yourself?

Online self booking is being set up now. In the meantime, call or text the number above, or send a message and I will come back to you with times.

Availability

The practice runs three days a week, with a limited number of sessions in each day. That is deliberate. It keeps the work good and it means you get a consistent slot rather than whatever is left.

It also means spaces are genuinely limited, so if a time matters to you it is worth asking early.

If you need help right now

Counselling appointments are not an emergency service. If you are in danger, or thinking about ending your life, please call 111, or call or text 1737 to speak with a trained counsellor free, any time of day or night.
